The judges' decision is final
Wines are graded on quality and judged in their peer group and do not, in fact, compete with each other. The judges are looking to award prizes to those wines which best represent their varietal, region, style, vintage and price bracket. Tasting notes will only be available for award-winning wines and these will be published in the SIWC Awards Special of Sommelier India – The Wine Magazine.
Participation in the SIWC directly implies acceptance of all the conditions of entry. SIWC has the right to change or update the competition without notice.
The judges’ decision on awards given or not given is final and is not open for reassessment.
